How Quick Capture Works
1. Assign MIDI Button
Map any pad/key to our Quick Capture command in Logic's Key Commands.
2. Press & Hold
Hold button to arm recording with 1-bar count-in on selected track.
3. Release to Save
Release to stop recording and auto-name clip with timestamp.
Advanced Quick Capture Features
Timed Capture
Set custom count-in duration (1-4 bars) for different recording contexts.
Multi-Track Capture
Hold modifier key while pressing to arm multiple tracks simultaneously.
Auto-Naming
Custom templates for naming captured ideas (date, time, project name).
Smart Monitoring
Auto-enable input monitoring only during recording to reduce latency.
